About Rheya Spigner

Rheya Spigner is a former award-winning News Anchor and Reporter dedicated to the importance of diversity, inclusion and change. Rheya believes in community and that positivity and education can change lives. After over ten years in the News industry, she realized her deep passion to help make hands-on impactful change in communities, businesses and people; which is why she started Rheydiant Consulting and Communications. Rheya is originally from Los Angeles but she started her journalism journey as a Reporter in Albany, GA and ended it as an Anchor in Des Moines, IA. In that time, she made so many connections with community; telling stories of diversity and tradition. Through conversation and projects she realized how impactful story telling could be, but she also knew she could do more. In 2019 Rheya was asked to lead a company wide initiative. She wrote and produced seven on - air specials, that aired after nightly news, as well as over 40 profile reports on community leaders. Topics ranged from mental health stigmas to police and community relations and adversities from people of Color. In 2020, she went back to school to attain her Masters in Legal Studies to better understand historical context, socio economic disparities and legalities of our world and she began to connect it to unconscious biases and disconnects in community we face today. From anchoring LIVE newscasts and creating trusted content with an audience of to public speaking in front of hundreds she has not only the skill but the passion to create positive change and cater to the unique challenges and needs of any company or brands request.
