About Rhiannon Enriquez

In September of 2022, I graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelors degree in International Relations: Peace and Security and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. During my journey as a student, I became part of several organizations such as: Chicanx/Latinx Collegiate Association (CLCA), La Raza Pre-Law, Archery Club, Pal Program: Advisory Committee, UCDC: Washington Program Summer 2022 Cohort, and Gonzalez Pre-Law Academy (GPLA) Cohort 2021-2022. As a member of these organizations, I gained valuable experiences in public speaking, leadership, and adaptability. I worked part-time/full-time jobs to pay for my education and am proud to be the first in my family to graudate from a University. Previously, I worked part-time as a researcher for Dr. Andrew Shaver, a Professor at University of California, Merced based in District of Columbia. As a researcher I've learned to proficiently navigate Microsoft Office tools, conduct outreach for several iNGOs, NGOs, news organizations, and think tanks, as well as r-studio programming in geospatial and visual data displays. As a first-generation, low-income, hispanic woman, I aspire to become an Attorney and advocate for minorities in the near future. As a future Attorney I hope to gain as much as experience within the legal field before attending law school. I have previous experience as a Community Associations Paralegal (CAP) for Whiteford Taylor Preston LLC in Contracts Law, Carmel & Reyes PLLC in Contracts Law, and currently I work at the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) as a Paralegal. As a Paralegal I have gained irreplaceable experiences and learned the importance of the letter of the law. I hope to continue this experience and continue to gain knowledge of the legal field.
