I have a deep knowledge of real estate industry processes with a strong accounting foundation built upon previous experiences as a Controller, an Assistant Controller and in public accounting. My greatest strength is my drive to dig into the detail in order to understand the big picture. I pride myself in taking full ownership of my responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:* Preparing annual budgets and business plans.* Working with consultants and auditors to complete acquisition fair value analysis and allocations.* Reviewing accounting for property acquisitions and dispositions.* Reviewing purchase and sales agreements and identify unusual contingencies and post-closing obligations.* Reviewing assets for potential impairment.* Completing the monthly accounting close.* Preparing joint venture and audit reports including accounting disclosures and reconciliations.* Preparing joint venture distributions in accordance with agreed-upon waterfalls.
