I’m an instructor at Red River College Polytechnic, where I teach Fundamentals of Insurance and Commercial Insurance. After a rewarding 30-year career as an insurance broker, I am focused to share my industry knowledge and passion for lifelong learning. Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience in brokerage management, client relationship building, and employee training and coaching. I take great pride in helping students succeed and feel a deep sense of accomplishment when they reach their goals. I hold three insurance designations and a Certificate in Adult Education from RRC Polytech. In 2019 I was honored to receive the Doug Hamilton Award for Instructor of the Year from the Insurance Institute of Canada, along with a 5-star rating from my students. This recognition was especially meaningful, as Doug Hamilton taught me my very first insurance course in the 1990s.
