About Rhyan Klostermeyer

I am a dedicated engineering student passionate about solving problems through thinking analytically, communicating clearly, and fostering shared values. I am studying chemical engineering at Montana State University and will graduate in December 2025. This past fall, I interned at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. I also have internship experience in the silicon production and quality manufacturing industries, and research experience in battery materials and human factors engineering. I serve as a volunteer tutor and mentor at the MSU American Indian Center, an ambassador for the Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering, secretary of the MSU Society of Women Engineers club, and Bible study leader with Oaks International campus ministry. I am looking to use my experiences and passions to positively contribute to teams during a Summer 2025 Internship. Outside of my studies, I enjoy a variety of extracurriculars. As a former Senior Company Dancer with Montana Ballet Company, I enjoy keeping movement in my life through teaching ballet and choreographing. I share my love for music by teaching piano through my studio I started in middle school. Growing up in Bozeman, I love skiing, backpacking, hiking, running, and getting out on the water. My love for our beautiful planet motivates me to contribute to engineering sustainable and smart solutions, keeping diverse interests in mind and uniting people across different backgrounds, traditions, and values.
