About Rhys Buckler

As a professional hotelier, I am dedicated to building a long-term career in the hospitality industry. My desire to continually improve on my existing knowledge allows me to confront new situations with an analytical eye and a penchant for problem solving. I have a keen interest in quantitative research which I use together with customer feedback and other research methods to improve revenues, guest satisfaction and efficiency of the department. Finance and revenue management are always a focus for me. A sound knowledge of these areas has helped me to keep abreast of past and current trends and to adjust accordingly. Through my experiences travelling and living abroad from the age of 20, I have built a fondness for cultures and local methods that add to my management of staff and customers. With a friendly and likeable demeanour, I work well with everybody. Service delivery and SOPs are paramount to any business, and I am fully committed to the implementation and instruction of these factors to all staff.
