I am an early career environmental science professional- Experience in marine and terrestrial field ecology. Highly skilled at collecting specimens and data while using SCUBA- Experience in using and maintaining field and laboratory equipment. This includes techniques such as microscopy, filtration methods, spectrophotometry, PAM fluorometry, lipid and chlorophyll extractions, tissue blasting, taking dry and buoyant weights and other techniques. I have also calibrated and used salinometers, ph probes, nephelometers, CO2 sensors, and PAM light sensors- High degree of experience with database management, Splus, R, Python, ArcMaps, Excel and other office programs- Highly proficient in the maintenance and servicing of Aquarium systems. Experience with highly sophisticated experimental coral reef systems, large fish and urchin aquaculture systems, and tropical reef display tanks. Have basic plumbing skills along with repairing and servicing high volume seawater pumps, pipes, and filtration systems- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills that compliment my approach towards and proficiency in problem-solving- Possess useful field qualifications such as ADAS Commercial part 1 SCUBA, PADI Dive Instructor, Advanced first aid, Advanced resuscitation, Certificate in Maritime Operations (Master <24m) and Coxswain grade 1, Open drivers license with 4WD experience and Medium Rigid Truck License.
