About Rhys Evans
10 years ago, I decided to begin my journey to become an MD. I am passionate about medicine because it allows me to learn daily and explore endless avenues of knowledge. Additionally, listening to a patient and allocating empathy to them allows me to become aware of the unfortunate stressors people are going through and have a chance to treat them. To me, medicine is cooperating with a patient through compassion and helping combat their issues to help improve their quality of life. Through my various jobs and volunteering experience, I have gained knowledge of how to interact with patients. Additionally, I learned more through examining the medical presentation of patients in clinical and in research settings.
