About Rian Mistry

I am a hardworking, motivated and dedicated student currently studying BTEC Engineering, BTEC Sport and A-Level Geography at The Hart School Sixth Form. I have chosen these subjects as I aspire to go into a career related to sport or engineering. My hobbies are cricket, cars and swimming. For 8 years I have been playing for Lichfield Cricket Club and I have played for all age groups and men's seniors’ team. As a result of this, I have gained a lot of cricket experience, and improved my team working and communication skills. Through playing cricket at Lichfield Cricket Club, I have achieved many awards with my greatest personal achievements being the best bowler of the season award, player of the season award and winning the Andy Lightwood award. These achievements have enabled me to stay motivated and focussed. My second hobby is cars and I am a fan of Formula 1 and enjoy reading and watching video about it to improve my knowledge and drive my interest further. My final hobby is swimming and I started swimming when I was a child and have kept this up to maintain my fitness and health. As I have been swimming since a child, this has led to me becoming a lifeguard.
