Experience in the field of sales, engineering, solution providing in drive systems and LV/HV installations for ships and oil and gas plants. Projected, engineered and supplied installations for several dredging, offshore and navy vessels direct or via system integrators. Provided several installations to the oil & gas environment and crane installations. Projected engineered, installed and started up the electrical installation for the TSHD Vox Maxima from the position of Senior Electrical Engineer at IHC together with suppliers like Siemens, Cofely, and IHC sub-suppliers to the satisfaction of the owner Van Oord. Goal is to do managing and electrical work in this field and to bring execution and effectiveness of the Electrical (ship) installations to a higher level. During the last 6 years working at IHC Deep Sea Mining gaining increasing experience in designing building, testing and operating of deep sea installations doing Developing and building equipment for operating deep sea mining operations. Designed and developed, build and tested the DSSM concept enhancing a water cooled, water filled and water lubricated electric motor suited to be used up to meter waterdepth. Next to this responsible for the electric, electronic and control part of the EU Blue nodule/ IHC developed four track crawler better known ans Apollo 2. Currently 05-2019 upgrading the Apollo 2 controls within the EU budget and making preparations for the second test period at 400 meter water depth in the mediteranean. After this project it is planned to upgrade or rebuild the Apollo 2 vehicle to a 100% environmentally friendly execution suited to be used at meter water depth.
