About Ric Zito

I am a multi-disciplinary designer, with a long career in a variety of areas within the design industry. I have a hands-on approach, and get deeply involved in whichever design technology context I find myself. I have built up a very strong skillset, encompassing a wide variety of abilities, from initial brainstorming and concept work right through to highly focused detail technical design. Whether I work in interior and product design, graphic design, or interaction and application design, I will approach it with the same keen eye, and the same rigour and determination. My wide experience has enabled me to build up an extensive knowledge bank of design issues and solutions. I am able to see the big-picture, and as a result I am very adept at problem-solving. I will always work to implement the most elegant, minimalist solutions and designs. I work very fast, and to a very high standard. Current specialities: UX, Information Architecture, requirements gathering, interaction design, UI design, web design. CSS, HTML5, Flash, Photoshop etc. Other skills : Interior design, product design, furniture design, lighting design. Graphic design, logo design, digital montaging and compositing. Multimedia design (DVDs, sound design).
