Dentist with a demonstrated history of working in community health. Passionate about promoting access to healthcare, fostering friendship and increasing international understanding. Rica graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2016 where she was awarded the Dr. Richard J. Rotter Dental Fellowship and was selected as Gonfalonier to represent the UW School of Dentistry at Commencement. She continued her studies and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program through NYU Langone Dental Medicine based at HealthPoint CHC in 2017. After graduating from the residency program, she continued to provide care as a Dental Provider at HealthPoint CHC and also served as Affiliate Faculty for both the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and NYU Langone Dental Medicine AEGD Residency Program. Rica also received a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University and is currently an Assistant Professor at the VCU School of Dentistry. Rica is highly motivated with a strong interest in increasing oral healthcare equity, while keeping up to date with dental educational practices.
