About Rich Baker

As Chief Operating Officer at RVL, I have overall responsibility for the safety and regulatory compliance of our flight operations. Our pilots report to me, and it’s my job to make sure that flight and training standards are properly maintained and consistently achieved.I typically spend three to four days a week on the ground but make a point of flying at least once a week to keep my own skills current. I started my aviation career in 2001 as a cadet with Air Atlantique, RVL’s predecessor, and began flying commercially in 2004. Over the years I’ve held roles across most areas of the business, and I’ve been the nominated person for Flight Operations since 2007.I work closely with our customers to give them confidence in how flights are conducted and in RVL’s capabilities as a whole, so they can focus on their journey or the job at hand. My focus is always on safety and ensuring that our flight team operates in a compliant, efficient and professional manner that meets our clients’ needs.
