About Rich Halfmann
My real estate career began in 2007 when, as a law student, I searching titles in the Registries of Deeds in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. After graduating from law school and becoming a member of the bar, I worked in private practice for three years, during which time I continued to search titles throughout Massachusetts and represented lenders in foreclosures, evictions, and REO sales, and buyers, sellers, and lenders in real estate transactions. In 2012, I left private practice and began working in the title insurance industry-first as claims counsel and later as underwriting counsel in a national commercial services office. Since 2015, I have had the good fortune of working for First American Title Insurance Company as a national commercial underwriting counsel and member of the Corporate Underwriting Team, where I underwrite commercial transactions across the country, solve problems, and help our customers close their transactions smoothly. I am passionate about the industry, love working with and meeting new people, and would love to hear from you!
