About Richa Arora

In her multiple current roles, Richa is mentor, board member, ESG evangelist. At ECube her mandate is to make sustainability more intrinsic to business, for corporates and investors. Her over 30 years of experience across P&L management, business strategy, marketing & innovation give her unique insights to help bridge the ESG-business divide. Richa has served as a Director on the Board of Tata NourishCo, Tata Unistore (Tata Cliq) & Snapdeal. She is currently an independent director on the board of FirstMeridian Business Services Ltd & Morphosis Venture Capital Ltd, and is member, governing council of Mobile Crèches. In her previous roles at the Tata group, Richa was responsible for driving the Foods business in India. As COO of the consumer business of Tata Chemicals, she led its' business and cultural transformation, launching Tata Sampann, and building the foods portfolio beyond salt. In her last role at the Tata group, as President – Packaged Foods, Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL), she was responsible for driving that business in India. She was also a member of the executive committee at TCPL. Before joining the Tata Group, Richa had set up Five by Six Consulting - a boutique strategic marketing consulting firm, advising companies like McCain Foods, Britannia & Wipro (Consumer). Prior to Five by Six, Richa’s stints as Head of Marketing & Innovation at Britannia, and in leadership positions at Balsara & FCB-Ulka, were all during the critical transformations in the journey of these organisations. Richa has played an active role in mentoring senior leaders, across industries & organisations. In 2020, Richa was on Business Today’s list of Most Powerful Women. Besides business, Richa is passionate about photography; she has had solo exhibitions in India at the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi & NCPA, Mumbai, and has also exhibited at an edition of the India Art Fair. A Chevening scholar from the London School of Economics (2001), an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (1987), Richa is a graduate in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi University, 1985).
