Background
About Richa Dhawan
As an innovative educator with 3+ years of experience teaching IB MYP Design & Tech, I specialize in Digital and Product Design, empowering students to develop creative and critical thinking skills. I have also taught IBDP Computer Science and Design Technology, helping learners solve complex, real-world problems through a blend of technical knowledge and design thinking. As the AI Club in-charge, I mentor students in exploring emerging technologies and AI tools, fostering ethical innovation and interdisciplinary learning. I integrate Design Technology lab tools and digital platforms to support hands-on prototyping, design thinking, and future-focused learning experiences. In addition to teaching, I have authored content for Computer Science textbooks, with a strong interest in developing engaging, curriculum-aligned resources that simplify complex concepts and inspire learners at all levels. I’m always open to collaborative opportunities in the fields of Design Technology, Computer Science, and educational content creation—with a vision to transform learning through innovation, creativity, and purposeful design.
