About Richard Allan

From construction sites to combat readiness and now critical infrastructure — I thrive where precision, pressure, and purpose collide. Starting in construction as a teenager, I later fulfilled a lifelong dream by serving in the Australian Defence Force as a Driver Specialist. The Army sharpened my discipline, taught me how to lead and support teams under pressure, and instilled a deep sense of accountability — especially when it came to logistics, vehicle operations, and mission-critical responsibilities. Post-service, I returned to construction with a focus on supervision and team coordination before transitioning into the fire protection industry — a field that quickly became a passion. After completing an apprenticeship in fire protection, I worked across some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects, including the NorthConnex, WestConnex, and Rozelle Interchange tunnels. Now in fire systems servicing, I’ve taken that experience from underground and into some of Australia’s most iconic buildings. I enjoy the challenge of fault-finding, problem-solving, and helping ensure people’s safety through precision and expertise. From installation to commissioning, from team leadership to technical troubleshooting — I bring commitment, capability, and a calm head to every role I take on. Always learning, always ready.
