BEHAVIORIAL HEALTH CEO / COO / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Behavioral healthcare executive with expertise in clinical, regulatory, business development and administrative functions. Successful career in managing multi-site operations through rapid growth and process change. Highly skilled in compliance and program development, with a record of improving and sustaining patient and financial outcomes. My strength as a leader lies in my ability to build and motivate teams; install well-conceived, process driven operational systems; and sustain performance accountability. I am accustomed to directing all fiscal, operational, clinical, and regulatory functions and have a well-established health care referral network. Additionally, I am comfortable with the challenges of aligning corporate, physician, leadership, and staff agendas into shared visions of patient / client focused goals. I began my career in college as a mental health research tech working with eating disorder and PTSD patient populations. Sequentially, I held positions in transportation, admissions, utilization management and marketing. I acquired valuable experience collaborating with multiple patient populations and payor sources. Success led to career advancement opportunities in program management, business development director, facility CEO / COO and regional director. I have extensive background in startup and turnaround projects: St. James BH was a physician owned inpatient startup with a focus on combining existing PHP / IOP programs and expanding rural services. Baton Rouge BH offered the opportunity to guide a facility through serious compliance and financial recovery. River Place BH, a startup joint venture, provided the challenge of navigating the business cultural divide between a national for-profit behavioral health company and a regional not for profit med-surg system. My most recent experience as regional administrator required census recovery, COVID navigation and operational oversight of multiple inpatient, residential and outpatient treatment programs. I have degrees in Psychology, Philosophy and History. I completed one year of study towards an M.ED. and am currently pursuing an MBA online. I believe that my early clinical background and years in administration and business development make me uniquely qualified to understand and meet the needs of both clients and corporate stakeholders.
