I am a well-organised driven quick learner, considering myself to be a confident, reliable and trustworthy professional. I have good time management skills and enjoy a challenge, as a result I am a competent practical person with hands on skills who can work under pressure. I have good interpersonal skills being able to work using my own initiative and as part of or leading a team. I attained my Driving Licence on the 4th October 2003, since then having much experience driving a variety vehicle types and have no points or convictions. My engineering experience includes installation, maintenance and servicing in industrial, commercial and domestic environments working as an Electrician, Technician and Engineer. As an engineer, I identified, designed, implemented and oversaw improvement projects with positive results. I gained much multi-skilled knowledge and experience covering a range of electrical, plumbing, fabrication, design, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical proficiencies with additional administration, IT and technical skills. I left engineering to pursue a career within the emergency services with East Midlands Ambulance Service by training as an Associate Ambulance Practitioner (AAP) to work within the Technician role. I am a registered clinician with the HPAC (Health Practice Associates Council) at AAP level. My medical experience includes working within the ambulance service having spent time crewing patient transport, emergency response and event cover. I have since progressed onto the Special Operations Response Team as part of my role with East Midlands Ambulance Service. In my own time I volunteer as ambulance crew with the British Red Cross also I have been first aid at work, high threat trauma, remote medic and first person on scene intermediate qualified previously. Within my roles I have experience working under pressure in down-time and time-critical situations, problem solving to resolve situations with minimal time impact.
