About Richard Blake

I started my adult career as a member of the Air Force, then soon after began my civilian career. I have spent a great number of years doing customer service and warehousing. I have been in the maintenance field since 2018. My current job is a facility maintenence mechanic, in which I ensure that the facilities many utilities are maintained to allow the plant to continue normal functionality. I deal primarily with boilers, compressors, water purification systems, different types of industrial pumps, a dry sugar system, and lastly, a pH controlling area to ensure our waste water does not contaminate the publics water supply. I deal with hazardous chemicals, high heat areas, industrial noise areas, elevated working environments, and a myriad of different large powered industrial equipment. I am driven by my core values that were instilled in me by the military; integrity, service, and a desire to strive for excellence. I will do my best to accomplish a task, but I am in no way a one man army. I can work well with others but prefer to be put on tasks by myself. I will give 100 percent while I am on the clock but once I am off I devote 100 percent to my family and my needs. I do not believe that you can learn all aspects of anything, you can always learn something new.
