NVQ Level 3 retail team leader (Double distinction) 2024 City and guilds Level 2 Functional skills English – Pass 2023 City and guilds Level 2 Functional skills Maths – pass 2024 Apprentice ceiling fixer - 2006 Main duties included installing metal frames, panels, lights, and other various electrical devices. working with plasterboard and having to deal with very precise measurements. Also had to complete a health and safety course and I required a pass mark -(23rd September 2006) Rock-IT - 2007-2008 During my time here I learnt a great deal in the retail industry, I was trusted with shop opening and closing duties and how to fix computers and laptops using various programs. I also learnt how to destroy and recover data from hard drives, took care of the stock room and looked after customers’ needs on the shop floor. Le Marche'e LTD - 12th of February 2008 - 1 January 2020 (References available) I started working for Le Marche Ltd when it was known as Prestige Primeurs, started as a packer and soon became a team leader. I then worked my way up to become office supervisor and then Office manager. I worked 6 days a week for 12 and a half years and enjoyed every moment of it. I dealt with taking orders over the phone and through email, dealing with pricing (making sure prices were up to date and correct at all times) invoicing customers, buying stock at the best possible price and also dealt with customer complaints. I also learnt how to use sage accounts, Freshware accounts and most importantly how the customer always comes first. The only reason I left Le Marche was because I moved down to Gosport to be closer to my family and the commute to and from London just became too much. Screwfix Ltd - 7th January 2020 - Present I started working at Screwfix over 4 years ago and I have to say I have learnt so much more about the retail industry. I started as a supervisor and within a year become a assistant manager. I manage teams of over 20 people dealing with pay, rotas, training, interviews, Stock loss/management, Cash discrepancies, counting the safe every week, cashing up and the general opening and closing of the building making sure health and safety is the first thing being taken care of. I am tasked with making sure all colleagues are trained on GDPR (data protection act 2018) and why they are so important, how we must follow health and safety in the workplace, how to interact with customers to make sure they always come first and much more. I have worked in 7 stores so far going where I am needed to help the company as much as I can.
