A Systems Architect with over 40 years of experience in Information Technology. I have a broad experience base spanning the development life-cycle with hands-on experience in system design, coding and implementation, network management under several network architectures, and LAN/WAN implementations with real-time satellite ground processing systems as well as office and industrial networks. I also have extensive experience with Information Security and its application to Information Systems. I'm a proficient Project Manager with extensive experience extending from application development through large-scale system design and implementation. Specific areas of interest include: • Business Analysis – I have specialized in recent years on gathering detailed requirements, translating them into complex use case elaborations, and then working with development teams to ensure their proper implementation. • Information Security – I also have a firm grasp of information security issues that exist in today’s business environment. I routinely apply this expertise to my client’s information systems to ensure that all risks are thoroughly understood and appropriately addressed. • Identity Management – I have spent several years specializing in identity and access management solutions. One of my primary accomplishments in this area was the specification, design, construction and maintenance of a highly distributed identity and access management system that is currently managing in excess of unique identities. Most recently, I was the Project Architect for an access management initiative, which included Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, using the Sun Identity Manager. This application involved the automated processing of application access requests with a review of GAAP SoD risks prior to approval and provisioning.
