A mentor of mine once said "You don't make a tree grow by pulling on its leaves." However we understand growth or development, it generally doesn't happen from someone pulling on us. I help people shift from seeing themselves as limited by their 'problems' to seeing and realizing their not yet fulfilled potential. These are a few of the questions that orient my work: What is it that acts on us, or within us, or through us that makes it possible to go beyond the limitations we encounter, whether those limitations are in our organizations, our relationships or in the pursuit of what we desire? How do we align ourselves with, or become receptive to, that? Specialties: In the words of a past client:"In the midst of my struggle and confusion he held up a picture of what I was up against until I could see it myself. And he encouraged me, over and over again, to see the ways I might lean into what was painful instead of staying comfortable but frustrated. And after a time I didn't need him to do that for me because I found I could do it myself. And whenever I've called on him, all these years later and with all the change that I've gone through, he can still do that."
