About Richard Cho

Hey there. My name is Richard Cho and I'm a former pre-med student turned entrepreneur. I graduated from Virginia Tech with the goal of attending medical school, but when my entrance exams got canceled due to COVID-19, I decided to fully pursue my passion for business. In 2020, I found and sold a niche powerlifting gym in Austin, Texas called Gameday Barbell. I would consider this my first successful business venture. Since then, I focused my attention on building my sporting goods brand, 1HUND. As the CEO of 1HUND, I lead a team dedicated to developing affordable and comfortable zero-drop barefoot shoes. But that's not all. I'm also a project leader and co-owner of Village Hidden in Iron, an anime-inspired apparel and lifting equipment company. We work on a variety of products, including but not limited to supplements, apparel, and lifting equipment. Right now, we're in the middle of creating a gym in San Francisco proper. My journey has been an unconventional one, but I'm proud of where I am today. As an entrepreneur, I've learned to take risks and chase my dreams. And with 1HUND and Village Hidden in Iron, I'm excited to continue making a difference in the world of fitness and beyond.
