After over 30 years as a Physician Assistant I have seen how powerfully the choices a person makes can positively or negatively affect the course of his or her life. I have made it my life's work to inspire, educate, and empower people to make positive choices, so they can live healthy, happy, fulfilling lives, in growing relationship with their Creator. Through my writing, public speaking, and my blog site at EncouragingWordsForToday.com I strive to bring a little hope, inspire positive change, and point people to Jesus who came that ".they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10 NKJV. In my medical practice and my writing I endeavor to show my patients and readers how making positive lifestyle changes, in areas like diet, exercise, rest, and stress reduction, can make dramatic differences in their physical and mental health and reduce or reverse the consequences of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
