With over 20 years of compliance and enforcement experience, I lead the Competition Enforcement and Advocacy team, which works to protect and promote fair and competitive markets in the public interest. In this role, I lead teams enforcing compliance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, the development and implementation of competition advocacy strategies, and the engagement with stakeholders and media.I have a strong background in law and investigation, holding a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Flinders University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with Merit from The Australian National University, and a Diploma of Government Investigation from Canberra Institute of Technology. I have also held various roles at related to criminal enforcement, cartels, consumer and compliance strategies, and airline competition. I have contributed to significant reform initiatives, such as the Competition Policy Review Secretariat and the National Anti-Scam Centre. I apply my skills in law, investigation, strategy, and presentation to deliver effective outcomes for the public interest. I am passionate about ensuring that businesses comply with the law and that consumers are informed and empowered.
