I have spent my career building the best software possible, given the constraints of time and budget. I have expertise in CAD/CAM, Molecular Modeling, ChemInformatics, Banking, and other application domains. I excel at turning chaos into order. I have an uncanny insight in to the underlying patterns that are inherent in the domain design space. I have a proven track record for quickly learning new technologies to apply to new domains. My solutions leverage the right technology at the right time in the right way. I have the vision to see a product as it should be, and the skill to phase the implementation into chunks that can be constructed. The path to the future is fraught with difficulties, but as the architect and the keeper of the vision, I ensure that the team reaches the goal. I’ve built products using most of the software technologies over the last 30 years. Technology comes and goes. So, whatever technology the product is using today, that technology will be obsolete within the lifetime of the product. Building product to withstand the changing technological landscape is a challenge. I understand the scope, process, and cost of changing technology, while keeping the product revenue flowing. Whether the development team is located in one room, or distributed across the globe, I have been successful in leading the team from idea to delivery.
