About Richard Ho

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, I’m passionate about helping investment professionals navigate markets, build better portfolios, and deliver strong outcomes for their clients. At BMO GAM, I lead the ETF business development efforts in Eastern Canada by driving growth, raising product awareness, and delivering a best-in-class experience to investment advisors and portfolio managers. My expertise spans both traditional and alternative investments. Prior to joining BMO, I was Director, Equity Derivatives at the TMX Montréal Exchange, where I focused on expanding the listed options market. I worked closely with advisors and investors to integrate options strategies into their practice. Throughout my time at the Exchange, I held increasingly senior roles and worked with a wide range of market participants—from the buy side to the sell side. Earlier in my career, I was at Desjardins’ Disnat Direct, supporting active traders through onboarding and relationship management. I hold several industry designations including Derivatives Market Specialist (DMS®), Fellow of CSI (FCSI®), and I’m a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) Charterholder.
