About Richard Kline

Full-Stack Software Engineer at Leidos where i've had the opportunity to work on several impactful projects. This has included working on new systems and re-architecting legacy systems bringing them into modern frameworks using React Native, Next.js, Django, OpenLayers and others. Before transitioning to software engineering, I served in the Air Force as a Specialized Vehicle Mechanic. That role gave me a passion for troubleshooting and solving complex problems, skills that naturally transitioned to software engineering. What I love about this field is how it allows me to be both logical and creative in my problem-solving. Beyond my professional life, I’m a proud father of three boys who keep me busy. When I’m not working, I love to hit the golf course or spend quality time with my family. Balancing work and personal life is a priority for me, and it keeps me motivated in all areas.
