I then transitioned to healthcare risk management where I directed litigation and developed risk reduction strategies for hospital clients. Leveraging that experience, I moved in-house with a community hospital and healthcare system where I led operations, litigation, legal, risk management, corporate compliance, patient relations and the insurance program. During my tenure, I was solely responsible for building and managing the hospital's first ever litigation department and first ever patient relations department. I also assumed a critical role in the planning, design and activation of a new sq. ft. hospital.
