About Richard Pheasant

As a leadership and management trainer, coach, and consultant my focus is empowering managers through imparting knowledge and skills that they can use to become more effective leaders in achieving results, whilst at the same time valuing their most important asset, their employees. Over the last 20 years, I have delivered management and leadership training for a variety of organisations and companies, as well as delivering leadership courses to students on university humanities courses. During the past 13 years, I have prepared and delivered hundreds of successful and effective courses to several thousand managers in 8 different countries, helping to develop their competencies so that they are more effective in improving their team's results. Managers and Supervisors I have trained have come from Oil & Gas companies, Food Manufacturing, Utilities Industries, Recruitment and IT companies. As well as managers, I have trained employees on soft-skills such as planning & organising, presentation skills and business writing. Around 93% of delegates rated the training courses I delivered at excellent/very good, and 95% of managers passed ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accredited courses that I delivered. Overall, I have over 30 years of teaching and training practice, alongside 12 years of management experience, 8 of which were as a head of department, leading a team delivering computing training to students, faculty & staff in a university. I also have 20 years leadership experience within churches and Christian organisations. I am currently writing a book, “Leadership For Managers” which is now in its final stages.
