With years of experience in revenue cycle management, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to optimize the financial performance and outcomes of healthcare organizations. I have a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives, data-driven solutions, and collaborative partnerships to effectively manage denials, appeals, collections, and contracts. I am currently the Director of Clinical Denials at R1 RCM, a leading healthcare network that serves communities across all states. As the Director of Clinical Denials, I am responsible for the management of over $7B in denials related to 54 hospitals, as well as the supervision of Nurse Auditors who write appeal letters on denied accounts. I work closely with various departments within the organization, including the CFOs of the hospital facilities, Data Analytics, Utilization Management, and the Regional Business Partners, to ensure alignment of goals, expectations, and processes. I also leverage my skills to support the implementation of process improvement to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Some of my recent achievements include identifying a $2.4M annual collections opportunity, on-boarding 18 staff and one manager, and redesigning staffing responsibilities.
