About Richard Risi

As a Store Cashier at Stop & Shop, I manage transactions with customers using cash registers, scanning goods, and ensuring pricing accuracy, and collecting payments in cash or credit. I enjoy interacting with customers and providing them with a pleasant shopping experience. Outside of my cashier role, I pursue my passion for music as an operatic tenor, a composer, a video editor, and a piano tuner. I have performed with G & SLocoli, a local opera company, and composed pieces that span genres, from classical to contemporary. I have also edited videos and audio for various projects, such as Riverside Opera Company and Tribecarts Inc, using Logic Pro and FCPX. Additionally, I have tuned pianos for clients, applying my skills from the New York Piano Tuning School, where I earned a certificate in music technology in 2020. I graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Performance in 2019, where I honed my vocal and musical skills, and won the Sabrina Rapp “Most Improved Major” award. I also attended the Long Island High School for the Arts, where I studied music and theater. I am fluent in English, Italian, and German, and proficient in MuseScore and creative writing. I am always eager to learn new things and challenge myself, and I value creativity, collaboration, and professionalism. My goal is to share my musical talents and vision with the world, and to inspire others with my stories and melodies.
