About Richard Rose

I am an attorney with a history of dedicated work in civil, tax, probate, and family law and extensive experience in mediation. My current practice consists mostly of family law, but I also handle contract disputes, civil and domestic violence restraining orders, probate matters, and tax law cases. Family Law - Divorce is one of the most impactful things in life and a custody struggle is one of the most stressful. I am intimately familiar with both and thoroughly understand the complexities of how it affects the individual, children, extended family and friends. Property division battles are equally disruptive and consuming. In all of these instances, it is important that an attorney helps clients understand and anticipate the emotional toll that they are likely to experience as they progress through their case. In other words, one MUST have realistic expectations set by their attorney for positive, long-term outcomes. This is acheived by open, frank, and raw dialogue about the processes and procedures involved. Knowledge is the best platform from which to launch practical, peaceful, livable solutions for the long-term. Tax Law - I have represented both private and business clients before the IRS, FTB, and EDD. Probate and Estate Planning - I have worked probate and trust litigation cases as well as guardianships and conservatorships. I have also helped clients through estate planning.
