About Richard Saunders

I’ve spent my career helping businesses run smarter, faster, and with fewer surprises — the way IT support should feel. As Service Manager at CSG Computer Services, I lead the Service Department across Helpdesk, Workshop, and Software — blending people, process, and technology to turn chaos into clarity. My focus is on standardisation, automation, and proactive service delivery. Whether that’s using Datto Autotask to tighten workflows, Datto RMM and Auvik to reduce noise, or driving adoption of AI-powered tools to boost engineer efficiency — I’m always looking for the next 1% improvement that compounds into real results. I believe great service doesn’t come from more tools — it comes from empowered teams, clear processes, and leadership grounded in trust and communication (very much a Theory Y mindset). Outside of work, I’m training for the Brighton Marathon 2026 for Marie Curie — because persistence and discipline don’t stop at the office door. If you’re interested in AI in Managed Services, operational maturity, or just swapping stories about leading people through change, I’m always up for a conversation. Let’s connect.
