About Richard Schultz

I am a highly skilled senior professional education/training leader and scientist who has spearheaded innovative instructional strategies. My varied background and skills make me a great fit for executive/senior leadership roles because of my 26 years of organizational leadership, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving skills I’ve acquired while leading teams and developing organizations. Below are some of my experiences as a key stakeholder: Led the founding and development as a CEO of a global non-profit community of practice for eLearning involving 535 international experts in such areas as instructional design, DEI, innovative instruction, and curriculum development. Created the university's first online curriculum as the Program Director at two highly regarded institutions and provided professional development for online teaching/instruction for all instructors. Led and forged new target audiences as Chief Digital Learning Officer for an organization in their global effort to instruct international learners, which launched a global effort to provide opportunities for of learners from underserved areas. Served as Program Manager and professional educator authoring 146 technical documents/reports, creation of 152 eLearning experiences, and 92 peer-reviewed publications, stakeholder pitches, and conference presentations. My character includes values of empathy, ethics, integrity, loyalty, and passion in high regard. I want to be a part of an organization that utilizes digital tools and progressive methodologies (AI, AR, VR, virtual environments) and leads their industry in providing best in class service to their clientele while leveraging my skills of high impact leadership, professional learning, instructional technology, staff development, leadership development, project management, critical and design thinking, and emotional intelligence. Additionally, I strive to be a part of a company that is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture in which everyone feels welcome, valued, and heard. I think this is crucial to success and that involving individuals from comprehensive backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives will lead to a company that is superior at displaying innovation. I aspire to contribute my skills and expertise in the position of Senior Director of Learning and Research, Chief Learning Officer, or similar role in a team-oriented company and lead the workforce to drive learning innovation.
