Current Role - Executive Director- Payer Accounts, Lilly Value and Access Role responsibilities include- Direct contracting responsibilities, monitoring of contract compliance and account profitability, identification of formulary access gaps, and partnering with internal Lilly resources to build a business case where appropriate. I then develop a negotiation strategy based on the business case, and proactively manage the process to achieve a win-win agreement with our customers- Gain and maintain product portfolio’s formulary access with regional commercial payers, Managed Medicaid plans, and integrated health systems within assigned geographic market- Demonstration of a deep understanding of healthcare environment and the impact healthcare business trends have on healthcare- Working with Managed Healthcare Services, State Government Affairs, and field sales teams to identify and solve issues that affect the use of Lilly products- Partner with a variety of account C suite and D suite customers, as well as population health executives- Collaborate with stakeholders within the field to ensure awareness of access issues impacting their business and maximize pull-through opportunities- Convey to potential clients the broader impact Lilly's services will have on their organization as a whole. Additionally: Previous roles have included HCP sales, major account selling and District Sales Manager position supervising a team of 12 individuals.
