As a Veterans Service Representative at the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), I apply my skills and credentials in health administration, health information management, and medical billing and coding to serve the veteran community. I have a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification and a master's degree in health care administration in progress. I have over twenty years of experience in engineering, where I developed work plans, managed deadlines, and coordinated project teams. I leverage these competencies to explain benefit programs, conduct interviews, gather evidence, adjudicate claims, and input data for award and notification letters. I am passionate about improving the quality and efficiency of the VBA processes and systems, and ensuring that veterans receive the benefits they deserve.
