About Richard Small

Implementation Consultant at Paylocity, where I’ve spent the last 3+ years leading full-cycle HCM implementations across payroll, benefits, time & attendance, and HR systems. I manage multiple clients at once guiding them from kickoff to go-live, configuring systems to match their needs, and ensuring a smooth, successful transition. Before Paylocity, I worked in the mortgage and financial services space as an Underwriter and Closing Coordinator, focusing on non-QM and DSCR loan products. That experience gave me a strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and how to stay detail-oriented under pressure skills that still show up in my work today.I’m passionate about helping clients get the most out of their systems and processes. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
