I started my retail career with MFI in the Warehouse in the flagship store in Croydon Store. Became Foreman and learnt all aspects in health and safety replenishment and stock control. Managed 13 staff including recruitment and staff rotas. Moved to Sales floor as a sales consultant where I gained the skills of consultative selling and finance sales. Recruited into Management as an Assistant Manager and moved to various stores to assist the Manager to deliver Profit through Sales and Customer Service. Took my first appointment at Charlton Store where I managed to increase sales and profit, this lead to my services used to attend poor performing stores and move them in the right direction. I have been trained in stock taking/ stock control, recruitment and retention including staff discipline. Have also the skills in staff development including training and performance management, which also included time with the training dept as a trainer.
