About Richard Taylor

I help improve efficiency and deliver better services by bridging business needs and technology. In my current role as Systems Analyst at a fast-growing grocery co-op, I lead cross-functional projects that modernize systems, redesign workflows, and drive adoption of new tools. My work spans product ownership, vendor management, process improvement, and data analytics. I’ve led the transition from an in-house e-commerce platform to a SaaS solution, redesigned our company-wide inventory process through custom-built tools, and managed relationships with multiple SaaS and MSP vendors. The result has been reduced labour hours, more accurate reporting, and expanded service capabilities. I thrive on solving complex problems, designing efficient processes, and working with people to make technology work for them. I’m currently completing a Data Science Certificate with the University of Waterloo to strengthen my ability to turn data into actionable insights.
