About Richard Taylor
I’m Richard Taylor. I’m a video producer, songwriter, accordionist, and lifelong creator of strange and fun things. I got my start at Troma Entertainment, working alongside Lloyd Kaufman—the legendary creator of The Toxic Avenger—on the cult horror-comedy Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead. It was a wild crash course in DIY filmmaking and creative chaos. Since then, I’ve worked with PBS12, NBC Universal, and Comcast, producing everything from Emmy-winning promos to music shows like Sounds on 29th. I’ve directed live events, edited a ton of videos, and helped bring all kinds of stories to life—funny, heartfelt, weird, and everything in between. I’m also one half of Bolonium, where I write songs, sing, and play accordion in a band that makes music videos, albums, and the occasional absurd live show.
