About Richard Todd

With a strong heritage in resourcefulness and innovation borne out of my family’s global agricultural experience, I am a keen entrepreneur and business person. What many people don’t appreciate is that agricultural management is a wonderful grounding in the sphere of business. Having enjoyed the benefit of this experience in three countries with diverse farming environments, a privilege arising through my family’s willingness to invest in growth and development, I am now able to bring this to bear through two ventures in parallel. Through our expanding operation on Queensland’s Gold Coast, we operate our demolition and asbestos removal company, DEMEX. Taking an industry leading position in a sector where the pace of change is accelerating, we provide demolition, excavation, site remediation and asbestos removal services Australia wide. Acquired in 2013, DEMEX represents our first steps into creating diversified commercial interests and through our diligent commitment to innovation and doing things to the highest possible standard, particularly in terms of safety, we positioned ourselves as market leaders. Our capacity to deliver on project in the highly competitive and unforgiving construction industry is a result of honing our business management skills in the agricultural arena. We have established, operated, developed and exited several farming enterprises. Our current interests are well-established and operate in North Queensland. We’re excited to be bringing a new energy and outlook to the way things are traditionally done in the demolition industry.
