About Richard Vickers
Over 7 years' experience in digital learning design with the award-winning, Digital Education Service, University of Leeds. Core skills include course design, instructional design, project management and communications. I've been instrumental in producing a comprehensive portfolio of internationally-recognised digital learning programmes, working with a broad range of subject matter experts and stakeholders. Key projects have included: • fully online Master’s degrees • massive open online courses or ‘MOOCs’ (supporting the University of Leeds to attract over 2 million online enrolments) • e-learning resources for corporate partners (Goldman Sachs, Marks and Spencer) • blended learning resources for Undergraduate degrees. I'm also a working musician, composer and band leader, specialising in Brazilian samba.
