Big advocate of social enterprise and love working in a sector where we can support ex offenders through Education and into Employment. I was successful in being selected for the 2017 Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship, with my research area being the 'role of education in reducing reoffending in Norway and Holland'.a chance to experience the good work done in prisons across those countries and bring back those ideas to develop back home.exciting times! I completed visits to Norway and Holland, completing my report in the months afterwards. Recently a blogger for the WCMT. Link to my report: I love my sport - competitor in all, unfortunately these days a master of none! Cricket Club Secretary and Chair of Governors at the local primary. Head of DIY at our forever home project. Can’t sit still. I enjoy raising money for charity. The last few years have included running 4 marathons in 4 countries in 4 days (it hurt) and the English 'Wainwrights' coast to coast walk and raising money for our local playground refurb. Hopefully we can raise a few thousand again soon for charity, doing something else a bit daft. Keen supporter of the mighty Port Vale Football Club, love the countryside and my garden. My final love, aside from the missus and gorgeous young daughter and son, is Beryl, my classic Citroen 2CV.who is working again now and as troublesome as ever!
