About Richard Wall

I am a 30 year veteran of cancer care in radiation oncology, having begun my career as a simulator technologist and worked my way up to CMD. I have 20 years of experience as a dosimetrist, and am a career-long user of the Eclipse planning software platform. I worked as the main lead on setting up our clinic with the Varian EMR product, Aria. I am well versed in the creation of all aspects of this system, including encounters, document template creation, care path/activities, and user rights, etc. I serve as the main in-house problem solver of all Aria/Eclipse issues that don’t need direct IT/Varian intervention. I have extensive experience in all 3D planning, IMRT and VMAT planning, and SRS/SBRT planning. I have worked with the Elekta/Nucletron HDR system in the past, as well as ultrasound planning for I125 prostate seed implants. I also have dabbled in the scripting environment utilizing the Eclipse API. Not an expert by any means, but I do understand the concepts.
