Results-driven operations executive and Six Sigma Black Belt with almost 20 years of multi-national leadership and engineering experience in the food industry, oil and gas sector, automotive industry, and the United States Army Reserves. Progressive leadership positions in manufacturing, Bronze Star recipient during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Expertise in leading diverse teams, managing operations, and process engineering. Director of Digital Manufacturing Excellence at Tyson Foods – I’m currently focused on implementing new Industry 4.0 technologies. I love working with diverse teams to solve difficult problems, and it is very exciting when a team uses its collective talents to make big cultural and process changes that benefit the entire company. Before joining Tyson, I had the opportunity to design and start-up a new manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia, conduct negotiations with labor unions as an Industrial Engineer, and serve as a Company Commander in the United States Army Reserves. These environments each provided their own unique challenges, but I was always fortunate to work with amazing teams on complex engineering projects and difficult leadership assignments; including time as a platoon leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
