I am currently a full Professor (part-time - 60%) and head of the Artificial Intelligence research group in CS at the University of York, UK. My main areas of interest are computer vision, machine learning and statistical and structural pattern recognition. I have worked on a wide variety of research projects, including imaging, face processing, 3D shape analysis, industrial machine vision and the analysis of structural data.
