Got certification for Microsoft Networking in late 90's and worked contract IT for 3 years for Aegon Insurance (call center) and Verizon as desktop and Network support. Spent last 9 years as owner and operator of retail tobacco shop. Buying, selling products, managing all facets of retail including tax filings and while operating retail establishment was appointed Chairman and President of Downtown Plano Merchant Group. This group represented retail operators, Building owners and apartment developers and owners. Duties included a liaison position between merchants, business and building owners, the Mayors office, the executive branch of the City, Plano Police Department, local corporations etc.
