About Rick Beaubouef
I received a PhD in Geology from the University of Houston and have worked in the E&P industry since 1992. Prior to joining Hess I worked for ExxonMobil in a variety of roles in the upstream business. I joined Hess E&P Technology in 2008 and was later named Chief Geologist. In this role I led a team of specialists providing expertise and technology solutions to the global upstream businesses (E-D-P). In 2015 I stepped out of the Chief role and began a role in the Exploration Excellence team, proving support and technical assurance with Hess Exploration. During this time, I was heavily involved in Guyana activities. In 2018 I moved to the Canada-Orphan Basin Exploration team to help mature the Ephesus prospect to drill ready status. Beginning in September of 2019 I moved to Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia, where I provide technical assurance across Hess businesses in the Malay Basin
